JJ Martins founded La DoubleJ in 2015 after a lengthy career in fashion journalism working for some of the world’s glossiest magazines. The US native initially sold vintage clothing online before a move to Milan allowed for her to partner with heritage fabric and printmakers in Italy and create collections that referenced the old but with added contemporary zing. She has also expanded to homeware,  bringing a retro twist to the modern home.
