Imiso, a pioneering ceramics house based in South Africa that was founded in 2005 by friends Andile Dyalvane and Zizipho Poswa. The brand’s name is  Xhosa for ‘tomorrow’ and reflects their mandate of telling visual stories that will continue to resonate in the future via the bowls, vases and vessels produced. Distinctive motifs include the use of abstracted human figures and a focus in working by hand meaning no two pieces are identical,  and thus making them instant collectors’ favourites.
