Industrial designer Adriaan Hugo and graphic designer Katy Taplin teamed up to establish Doktor & Misses in 2007, based in Johannesburg. With a product and services roster including lighting, furniture and interior design, the multi-disciplinary design company has amassed a growing collection of limited edition collectibles that have featured in global exhibitions from New York to Basel. Their showroom also acts as a showcase for their modernist pieces, all sharing a common thread of themes such as bold colours, graphic shapes and strong construction lines.
