Saint Laurent was founded by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Bergé in 1961  with an haute bohemian and daring customer in mind. A boundary breaking brand from the offset, firsts included women in masculine tailoring courtesy of Le Smoking, and the Safari Suit reimagined for the Rive Gauche set. Now, under the creative direction of  Belgian Anthony Vaccarello, the brand continues to create  collections with a similar  rebellious spirit but for a new generation. Androgynous blazers, daring evening wear and statement accessories have been added to the house style that is rooted in Parisienne insouciance.
